I've basically finished collected all the parts need for an advanced hexa-copter build. I have a ton of extra sensors to mess with. Lidar lights, optical flow sonar, pixiecam motion sensor, Rasberrypi etc.
I'm using a pixhawk Flight Controller and Taranis X9D transmitter.
I have just started the build. I have motors and esc's hooked up to the frame. I am currently updating firmware and settings on the pixhawk 2.4.8 and binding the taranis to the X4R rx.
I was able to bind my Taranis to the X4R rx, the light goes green (indicating that it is binded to the controller). But after this point I'm not sure what to do I have researched extensively have not found out how to configure the taranis controller for a hexacopter (I have only seen quadcopters). I assumed the mission planner would take care of that but after I binded my Taranis controller to the RX and went to mission planner to calibrate the Taranis it does not detect the taranis at all, I believe the taranis needs to be configured first but not sure.
Please help.. Basically I have just binded my Taranis controller to my receiver that is plugged into the pixhawk 2.4.8. need to know the next step from here. Mission planner does not detect my controller even though it is already binded with the pixhawk 2.4.8 so i still cannot calibrate.
I have done research and haven't found a solution yet
I will post a detailed youtube video of the current situation
Any input is appreciated. Thanks for the help
