built not bought

Hey guys, another noob here. Need some advice on whether I should buy or build my quadcopter. I was looking at the dji phantom 3 standard and since the price has gone down to 850 aud it has become more affordable. I love the features and flight time on that, but i want to use my gopro hero 3...
