230si won't climb

My 230si is new but the battery is about a year old. Fully charged the battery measures 4.11 volts. The unit will climb slowly to about six feet and soon settles into ground effect where it will hover for ten or fifteen minutes. It has never suffered a crash. Do I need a new battery? Terry
