I fully agree on a manual release of the chute. Most of my failures float pretty much straight down. Deploying in a tumble would seem to me to wrap the chute around the copter,thus defeating the purpose. Of course the neat plastic wrapped bundle of pieces would be a big plus,lol.

Having a problem..When I click on any post it starts me at the bottom of the page. I have to scroll back up to the top or use the "top" button in the lower right hand corner. Becoming annoying..:-)

Great read,glad you brought it back to life. I used to hold to the whole "Never read the manual bit" but since I got into Quadcopters I read the manuals cover to cover,lol. Any advice I can get,even confusing advice, is a plus to me till I get confident with this new addiction of mine.

I used my old label gun and made a tag for my Quadcopter..Name,phone # and reward. I'll give a ten spot to get to get a $50 quad back,lol. Maybe a six-pack if that's what they want..:-)
