    Hi guys. I received the new cc3d so it's now all together properly. Just need to get a battery and radio now. Can't wait to try it out but I'm sure I'll be needing some advice

    The motors are 2300kv. I think the frame would suit the 3100kv motors better size wise. The cc3d is the original one, just waiting for the new one with side pins to arrive before I disconnect it. I'll be covering My sloppy soldering on the arms with a bit of hot glue, just want to check it all...

    Got the motors on today. Had to take the holes quite close to the edge so I cut disks out of delrin to give the motors a bit of protection. Just need and battery, transmitter and receiver now. Any suggestions for a decor t cheap set up?

    It's a valid point but even without the box, I'd need to use stand offs so same problem. I've ordered a new cc3d as if like to keep it all nice and tidy.
