motor failure crash - please help !

First of all, thank you very much for your quick responses! Well, the problem was a bad connection inside esc's cable, that we didn't realize earlier. We soldered it and here it is, up again! I will upload a video in the next hours. Be aware, the quality is poor (240p) because my friend uses an...

My motor stop spinning for a sec.

Hi guys! I am flying in X mode. The down left motor (aka. number two motor) , stops and starts immediately and make my quadcopter to lose height. This has happened the last two times. I think it might be the ESC and i'm planning to test it on another motor. Has anyone else had the same issue...

motor failure crash - please help !

    My first quadcopter build.

So the best solution is to use OPTO ESCs and an UBEC. Thank you very much GJH105775 :)

    My first quadcopter build.

No, i don't mean the theoretical differences but the practical differences. Does the bec heats up quickly compared with ubec?

    My first quadcopter build.

The gimbal i'm planning to use has got two 2208 90kv motors which draw 300mA each. So 3A ubec is good. What is the difference between using ESC with BEC and a UBEC?

    My first quadcopter build.

One more question. My motors draw 15amps max. What do you think about my 30Amps ESCs. Are they good or not?

    My first quadcopter build.

I was wrong. The power module is designed to power apm, a RC receiver and accessories (GPS, Radio telemetry) only. It's not designed to power servos. So do you suggest to use the ESC's internal BEC or use an external ubec? i don't have any servos to power, but i plan to use a camera gimbal if...

    My first quadcopter build.

Nice, thank you! So about the BEC situation, i don't think i have problem with that apm power module, what do you think?

    My first quadcopter build.

Thank you very much for your quick response! I think bec is not nessesary becauce the apm kit contains the apm power module that supports 5V-3Amps. Am i wrong? Also, does it matter if my props are just plastic or nylon/carbon or any other material? I have chosen the cheapest 1045 props from...
