I installed the G3DH gimbal on the scout but find that I only have pitch and roll control, no 360 degree yaw. How do I accomplish that? I'm fairly new at this and not a wiz with electronics. Also, is there a way of tweeking gimbal settings (i.e. max roll and/or pitch) via the F12 controller...

I took the G3DH gimbal off and put the original G3D gimbal and camera back on the Scout and everything functioned properly (no off-on-off-on). If there was a power problem I imagine it would have shown itself on this G3D, but NO......A logical guess says the problem probably lies in the G3DH...

Yes.....camera functioned and sent video feed to F12E, but then it shut off along with gimbal only to come back on again with gimbal at 2 to 3 second intervals.

I have a Scout X4....I recently got a G3DH gimbal. When I power up the Scout along with the Devo F12E the camera sends the video feed as it should and the G3DH gimbal turns on only to shut down after 2 or 3 seconds, then come right back on for 2 or 3 seconds and shut down again....on and on and...

I have a Devo F7 from a previous purchase....will it work with a Scout X4? Will it need reprogramming? I'm new at this and find the F7 manual almost unintelligible. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thx

Thank you for the response. I'm using the AeroSim RC simulator.....you pointed out that wind conditions are a factor and, as it happens, wind can be programmed into the Sim....so I will do that. Sounds as though the Scout would be a worthwhile acquisition....will the Devo F7 work with it? If...
