sure i agree, but with two rear changed I'd expect the front to lift whilst the rear struggled as a whole. The fact that it is fighting on the back croner says to me that the back right wing is the problem, either it is not receiving enough power or there is physical damage.

I only picked up 2 replacement motors which I used on the two rear wings. Given that the drone seems to tilt backwards and to one side I think it indicates a problem at the rear and not the front so I am not sure what I would gain from changing the two seemingly good front motors?

Props are labelled A (front left and rear right) B (front right and rear left) - two props on each motor. A props spin CW, B props CCW. I'm certain this is correct?

I was wrong, added a new motor so that both rear have new motors and the same. Tried switching the corresponding props and guards but to no avail. More than anything it is bugging the hell out of me!

just realised that the new motors are fractionally smaller and lighter I guess, trying to fit another replacement on the other rear corner. If my assumption is correct I guess the drone will tilt to the rear and I may have to change all 4 motors.

Finally managed to fit the new motor - the drone still will not take off, it tries to pivot on the back right motor which was the original problem. I guess the motor was not damaged after all. Not sure where to go with this - I cannot see any damage so I'm kind of beaten. One for the trash?

I've managed to source what I think is the correct motors from Alliexpress, I had no idea that the cogs came in pretty much every variation type. I've found an 8 teeth drive so hopefully this will do the job. Will report once I've fitted them!

but each motor would require the new white plastic cog wheels that the motors drive.... (the original problem faced with this repair)

Ah I didn't think of that, so I managed to remove the original cog but seems that the drive shaft on new motor is larger in diameter than the newer motor. As a result the old cog won't push on to the shaft. The new cog (left) has 10 teeth, the old (right) has 8 - as can be seen I've actually...

Just got around to trying this fix, I took the drone apart and although the motors fit and look the same the cog is slightly bigger so it doesn't turn the cog of the blades.
