    FlySky i6x help

So I set this bad boy up with the FS-x6b and finally got it all working (first one I've ever wired, I bought a 2nd hand rig) And now it is communicating and showing betaflight.... Got all the aux channels all working. And went to set up the endpoints. Except. Full left pitch.... is just...

    Newbie Drone build help needed

Another WILD ride and for what it's worth here's my 2 cents: Why would you ever consider replacing the flight controller before the GPS? Surely if you're having issues with the GPS you replace it? With the more expensive FCB with more solderpoints xD? Seems like you just need a GPS which...

    Port/UART/Tranamitter issue

I do, however, have the original issue, of channel 5, Aux 1 in betaflight, not being recognised as a switch... its not editable in the controller screen and I'm pretty sure it's when I was trying to internally map the other switches when they hadn't been set up yet...... arm was temporarily on...

    Port/UART/Tranamitter issue

6 channels with 4 being the AERT Info? Then he defs did the 10 channel mod, coz I have all 4 top switched mapped: arm switch , angle/nul/horizon, airtrainer/nul/turtle, and beeper on/off.... It might only be 6 if it's NOT including AERT though, because only aux 6, 7, 8, 9 and 110 are available...

    Port/UART/Tranamitter issue

So, I picked up a 2nd hand rig from a guy and it runs great but I was changing some things and SOMEHOW unmapped the Arm key from Switch A on the TGY I6s transmitter... a couple of other things also made me want to just factory reset. So I did. Bound fine, set up the rxrange in the CLI of...

Legendary!!!!!! I don't think I'll get a 3d printer for my FIRST build and tbh I dont think the makerspace is very big down here in Melbourne :/ I'd not heard of one of those sites though, so I'll maybe check them out... No libraries down here have them, or friends, etc etc etc... It would be...

@Dugdog47 that is one versatile (low end mW) vtx :O!! Holy moly!! Do you notice resolution loss on 1/3 or 1/4 size cameras? Are they more difficult to mount? I imagine theyre"designed" for tiny whoops? They're literally just smaller?? Epic parts list...I think I'll opt for those eco motors for...

Hahahahahaha, no not at all bro, you're fine, we are birds of a feather in that regard :p!! Oh nice. I just watched a Joshua Bardwell video about it and it looks SICK but honestly I'd probably look at just getting Frsky to start with. Then when I build my next one and upgrade some components...

Oh ALSO in regards to the VTX and laws, 5" frames are illegal in australia too, unless you're part of a club paying membership fees for their insurance/CASA registration etc etc etc... Or.... well... over 250g is illegal... so really anything over a... What... 2", 3"? Only illegal if you get...

Nice!! Thanks man!! So the frame looks good? But you reccomend better motors? Regardless of brand, 2300 or 2800Kv? Mamba stack seems to have a good rep to me? Or replace the 4in1 with individual ones? What are the actual pros to 4in1 besides neatness and less wires/soldering? If I end up...

Oh, ALSO had like, 4 people on 2 different forums tell me to just buy a kit... It's quite annoying actually... Tryna talk me out of what I was so keen and interested in doing... Like I'm some 16 with halfhearted interest not a 25 year old with serious intent haha? Anyway... They reccommend the...

Oh nice, emax is a brand I've seen OFTEN, Ill look into them!! 2300 or 2800 Kv? I plan on running 4s battery and 5045s props, so im getting like almost a kilo of lift per motor with the 2300 and more like 650g with the 2800. My thinking is that the 2800, in a 14v system, will still give...

Thanks a bunch man :D!! Thats good to know :)!! The bearings are taking an absolute beating, I ride longboads alot and I know all about buying new bearings/the value of good quality ones!! I imagine thats gonna be part of the upgrade in cost of more expensive/better quality motors? Also have...
