So I recieved both a Proto-X and a Syma X-5 for Xmas. I have been fllying both of them non-stop and am completely bitten by the quad bug. That being said.... the X5c-1 just doesnt respond fast enough, bank hard enough, etc... I woulld like ot learn to fly better before building a real quad so...

NCFRC... thanks for the info. I suspected it wasnt the heallthiest thing to do charging them with a 3.1 charger. I'm just impatient. LOL

I work in IT and I use 3.1 amp USB chargers for iPhones and Droids. They seem to charge the X5c battery in about an hour. I also bought a 5 pack of batteries. One "tip" I thought of is is to make a label with your cell phone number on it. I came really close to losing my qusf last night...

I just got my Syma X5c-1 on Saturday and am very impressed with it. I'm completely new to flying quads and was able to easily set this unit up and get it flying. So far so good!
