Difference between Syma X5C and X5C-1 upgrade

I actually used 1/4" chisel Sharpe markers. In the perfect world you should check all props for balance but these seem close enough. You won't be dissapointed with the X5C-1 . It's so much better that when our son was home from college I sent him back with the -1 as he noticed a huge...

    syma flight time

Cell phone batteries can't put out the 4-5 amps required to run a X5. The voltage dove to the Syma's cut off with in 10 sec. Yes , we have a few of the Syma S107G helicopters. $20 shipped with radio " much better than phone controlled" is a great deal. I've learned to leave em stock. GoNitro...

I wonder if the battery on top is effecting the gyro ?? Will it fit on the bottom ? Just my opinion ,,, but I believe there's a point " 700-750mah battery" of where a larger battery isn't a good thing. There's a lot more strain on the entire prop system, especially with the X5 only having...

Maybe your antenna mod " 3/4 - 1 extention " came unsoldered from the circuit board. Or if it's too long it will kill the range. What battery are you using thats 1200 mah ? Does it fit under the cover ?

Get rid of the stock white Losi mini battery connectors. They just do a very poor job of carrying the 4-5 amps of power needed. A good E Flite JST connector would be the first mod I'd do to these things.

Bummer about the flight. Thats why you should find a large field to fly in. There's plenty of video's on line where the X5 is flown hundreds of ft. away with zero problems. 1100 lipo ? Did you use a phone battery ?

    Syma X5C battery polarity wiring

I just got some Turnigy batteries " not specific for the X5" and found that the Mini connector on the syma battery is wired backwards compared to other rc vehicles that use the same plug. To look at the stock battery plugged into my son's stock X5 socket , the red wire is connected to black...

The Dromida 700 battery " after removing the rear peg " fits great , has very good power being a 25C rated battery and will get you past the 10 min. mark in fight time. The only small negatives are that you have to change the quad connector to JST and the cost is $12.99 each.

I'm really leaning towards a Naza M flight controller. If there's an area not to skimp on with this Tarot , I'd guess this would be it. The Q Brain 25 seems to have good reviews also.

Looking for a good quality Lipo voltage meter

I'm looking for a good quality lipo voltage meter / warning alarm that is accurate. I want some with just the meter. Most of the ones I've found on E-bay don't guarantee accuracy. I've seen some nice blue ones on build videos. Where do you get them ? Thank you :)
