    I have the one in the hard case that has an external programmer so I just put it in the middleand a ribbon cable leads to it and I can detach it after I've programmed it

    Yeah don't worry I'm not actually done I'm still going to do wire clean up I just wanted to get it all set up and motors going the correct way.

    Where would I find preflashed (for lack of a better term) ESCs? And for the transmittor I might go with the $60 turnigy 9x rx/tx combo

    Well I've decided to change the ESC to 4 individual Turnigy Plush 25a so that I can flash them with SimonK since that does seem to be pretty important. Also I'm going to buy a Rx/Tx combo since I don't want to spend the money to buy a radio anymore. (I don't already have one) One last question...

    Thanks for the EMAX tip I wasn't sure if there was a big difference performanperformance wise between the 2 brands. And if I'm not planning for FPV at this time what size should I get for agile/responsive and fun to fly but decent flight time?
