    I did not test the battery voltage but the new quadcopter works fine with both batteries, whereas the quadcopter that we returned did not work with either battery, so it is safe to assume that the problem was with the quadcopter that we returned, not with the first or spare battery.

    It did not work even with the new battery so we had to send the quadcopter back.

    I am afraid we had to send it back to amazon. Before I got around to testing the battery, spares arrived but they did not solve the problem.

    My son's Syma X22W won't start up -- the lights don't come on -- after first charging. Any suggestions? He says that while he did bump it, it was working still until the charge ran out. The battery appears to be charged, showing a brief flash of light at the charger when connected to the mains...
