I would like to purchase one of these quads, I have heard some have had issues with the x350 but it looks like a fun flier with an expert mode (acro) which is nice. I'm not really concerned with having a camera on them, just a fun flier. Has anyone flown both and which do you think is the better...

Can the xk x350 take other batteries besides the official one? I was looking to get the quad and a spare, but the official one is like $35 USD.. any more reasonably priced ones around? Thanks!
