there aren't any other open ports on the unit i used all of them with the wiring from the flight controller or should i just unplug one temporarily and use an aux port for the battery wire

yes that is the model i have with the yellow colored cc3d block. and yes i need to get one of those harnesses and a new power distribution board. I'm hoping my local hobby shop has a harness so i can grab one today.

the video answered alot of questions thanks. i seem to be missing the wire i need and that is why i couldn't get the unit to work. also my cc3d seems to look different from the others i've seen i'm wondering if mine is just a cheap knock off and if i should look for a better unit.
