They are brushed motors. They get hot. I did the same thing with 1100mah batteries. It was fine in February when it was cold but as it warmed up outside I started burning up motors.

Loctite will come loose. What is doing is holding the screws tight from the vibration and flexing the quad does while flying. If you check all your screws before every flight, I suppose you avoid using it. Or do nothing and keep losing screws.

VTXs tend to run warm. I've never worried about it. Flying helps cool them.
