When it drops, see if your fcb is still powered and that you rx is powered. I forgot what fcb and rx you have but mine have lights on them to indicate they are powered and working.

Do you have a lead weight hanging off it? :) That thing should fly. I have no idea why it won't. Smart people... we need some help over here.

I've had better luck with a helical antenna and a cloverleaf. The one flat panel I bought was garbage. To be fair there was a review available stating that the one I got was garbage, but I've been real pleased with my helical so I haven't tried anymore flat panels.

Flip your battery over and stick the wires through the little hole. Stick your receiver in the pocket on the other side, theres holes in the pocket for your battery and monitor plug. It connects together in front of your nose. Oh and don't use that window stuff. Gets some foam sticky tape.

I don't know that much about batteries, but I do know that the more aggressive you fly the shorter the battery time. Are you hovering or zipping around? What I mean is, are you flying basically the same way with both quads? Oh, and I have no idea why you would get such a difference in flight...

You get 14 min? What battery are you using? I get about 4-6 min with a 3s 1500mah. Sometimes 3.5 if i do high speed laps with flips and rolls and altitude climbs.

Look again. If the motors are producing the same rpm as you said, they are turning in the proper direction and the props are installed like Jackson's photo, it has to lift. Not much is left. How do you know the motors are producing the same rpm?

A lot of people are moving the battery on top and the vtx to the back because the battery smashes into both the fcb and the vtx during crashes.
