I've had nothing but good experiences with the zyx-m. I used it on a few builds. Once you get used to a certain FC (I) tend to stick with it. I'm also building an Ironman 650 at the moment. Just for fun really. She's a biggy with 15" props ;)

if you want a very popular off-road vehicle try the vehicles made by"Axial". Tower Hobbies is a huge online distributor of these vehicles. Perhaps an Axial Yeti XL will do the trick. But be forewarned fpv doesn't work well when there's trees blocking the tx signal. Like said above
