Of course its the 4k P3P wonderful copter...when it works...very buggy... I am NOT impressed with the complexity.....and I am a Computer geek... I appreciate the X8 for simplicity of flight.... but that's just me.

yes still under warranty....usb does feel loose...I have changed the cable.... nothing seems to make it work right...probably will exchange for new bird seems to be a problem with DJI.... I should have gotten the Typhoon 4k

Brand new Phantom III...6 flights in, now I get a red status mssg saying "No Signal" the copter is flyable, just no video....and minimal OSD info...and wont auto take off..... I swapped the usb cable...no avail firmware is the latest update worked fine till it sat for two months.....DJI is aware...

I considered a batt. change for the Tx..need to know limits of Tx voltage first but I do have two 2.4 Tx's that use 6 batts instead of 4

WELL.........its like this...the factory Tx ant. was nothing more than a 3/4 inch piece of speaker wire soldered to the ant connection on the board....NO GOOD.... it requires 4.9 inches of ant to reach a full 2.4 ghz wave...and max range... a Youtube video guided me to install a 2db gain 2.4ghz...

Crapshoot, then...unless I hit on the right advice... thought I would pick up an older X5 and try it...maybe I will wait...I heard the X5C-1 wont work but if it does work I can get better range on the X5 even after Tx antt. mod....the range wont get better than 100 meters and falls out of the...

All right guys...help me out here....I have a Syma X8C... I have heard you can fly the X5 models with an X8 Tx.. better range and better response... My X8C Tx will NOT bind to my X5C-1 updated version.... is this because it is C-1 and not plain ole' X5 I have heard this to be true....any one...

I strongly recommend the Syma X8 models...great range and performance... and only roughly 25 bucks more than the X5 models...but WAY more copter.... I own both..and should have gotten two X8's.... so good I got my Dad one as a trainer for his DJI Phantom III

If you do....You will not go wrong...and you will be happy... order a Andoer gimble assy...non motorized...under 20 bucks..... then order a set of DJI Phantom III white gimble balls...the black ones that come in the gimble are way too stiff for light cameras....when these items are in your...

Of course you can....how much imagination do you have?....that is the only hindrance.....sky's the limit oh...and weight......you need to keep ...(camera..battery..and camera mount)...4 oz or less....NO MORE a gopro is too heavy...I suggest something like a xiomi sport cam or a runcam...I am...

for heavens sake...the direction you place it upon powering up and binding is KEY........... ALWAYS....... place the X8 facing AWAY from you........ALWAYS.....when binding do it this way... probably NOTHING wrong with your Tx....face it away...then forwards is away and back is back...left is...
