I have 3-4 years of flying dji gps drones, mavic pro mainly...& line of sight entry brushless like the mjx bugs 6 & 8pro. No fpv outside of using my dji RE goggles with my mavic pro. I so have the ocusync air fpv kit that allows you to install dji fpv systems in race quads or anything u want...

Thats rad lil fpv rtf no doubt... i like how its got the prop cages those are huge on a mini like that which will be bouncing off walls etc. i dig it

Actually the antennas i use are lil nicer and have metal lead instead of thin inner coaxial cable or whatever. Here sum pics of one i soldered straight to my board on one x8 using no pigtail etc. let it sit inside the shell inside a front arm and works great for such a ghetto job

Ya i dont even have the instructions sorry and the thing is shrink wrapped in white as u can see... it powers up fine cuz i learned the blue light means it working atleast, thats good. No signs of anything went bad yet. I have few more x8 controllers so im going start a new tx mod from scratch...

Ya im aware of the male pole involved in the rp-sma equation and double checked those fittings too many times already. It is so mind boggling at this point that i have decided that i must of added power to the amplifier before having the antenna attached when testing/install or something cuz...

Im not sure i would care if my neighbors flew their drones around my neighborhood and went over my house. I mean even if they did crash land on my property the chances of anything seriously dangerous occurring is probably less likely than getting bit by a Cobra and struck by lightning at same...

Ah dont u hate that... Amazon has let me down when it comes to quads too. Ebay is always good alternative ijust dont like paypal anymore but ya cant beat some of the prices on there. I got my eye on hubsan h501c gps drone for 140$ off ebay ;thats such great deal imo.

I wish i knew how to test signal strength .. both at the wires and also like a RF readings at distances . Any1 familiar with the tools involved feel free to share

Note: my range goes from 3500ft+ with amplifier unplugged/off using the same 6db antenna and with the 2w amplifier on/plugged in i get less than normal range using the same antenna, its like x5 range :/ I did ponder the thought of the antenna being some special one made for the amp but from all...

Fyi i buy syma x8w-v3's for 52$-55$ free shipping off amazon. Ebay has same prices. They come with brass motor gears and seem to be more reliable from my experience. I cant imagine paying 100$ for one thats craze. I think u should try to bind that old controller to ur new x8c and see if it will...
