Has any here had a problem buying thrrough GearBest?

I just purchased a few things of GearBest, awaiting delivery. I am concerned because I've been reading about their poor customer service when I googled "GearBest Shipping Times".

Advice for visualising orientation (nose in hovering, etc)

Hi, Just wondering if you guys had any tips or advice as to how to know which way, left or right, etc when in orientations other than tail-in ? I'm trying to see myself as the pilot of the quadcopter and his left and right.. ?

Cheap Blade Nano QX (nQX) Spare Parts Australia

Amazon is a real pain - it seems everything I want to buy "will not ship to Australia". The Amazon.com.au is really just books and stuff like that. Haven't found a freight forwarder that makes it worthwhile for small stuff.

Cheap Blade Nano QX (nQX) Spare Parts Australia

Hi Guys, What a fun little flyer the Nano QX is! But crikey... getting a hold of spare parts in Australia is EXPENSIVE. The local hobby stores and Aussie online retailers sell spares motors for $15 a motor, 150mAh 45c lipo cells at $13 ea, and props at $6 for 2. This means 4 new motors: $60. 4...

When to replace motors - one at a time as they die or all at once?

I have purchased a couple Bayang X9's and look forward to trying them out when they arrive :) Shame can't bind it to my DX6 though

What do you call the controls inputs when training someone?

Thanks, do you say "Yaw Left" (sounds a bit weird saying out loud, like "Your left"

Cool. Have you tried the Bayang X9 6mm motors and props with Nano QX? I bought some (awaiting shipping....) for the X9 but I will try them in the nQX as well. If I know they are good I will order more now because of the month+ shipping times

When to replace motors - one at a time as they die or all at once?

Thanks, I have purchased some CL-0615-11 (medium speed) to have a go. I am interested in how these motors affect battery life for the Eflite 150mah 45C. I really wanted to buy some mylipo 205mah but they were sold out.

When to replace motors - one at a time as they die or all at once?

Hi, I have a Blade Nano QX, fun to fly. I've racked up about 10 hours on it, and a motor died. Someone on Reddit said the rated lifespan was about 10 hours for those motors, which sounds reasonable for a micro brushed motor (?) Should I go ahead and replace all the motors now, and keep a...

What do you call the controls inputs when training someone?

thanks, I suppose if you tell them mid flight to go backwards, you would say "go backwards" and not something like "pitch down" or "decrease pitch" ?

What do you call the controls inputs when training someone?

Hi, I am going to teach a few people how to fly a basic indoor quad (Blade Nano QX) and I'm curious to see what you call the controls and if there is any standard for naming the controls and what they do. For quadcopters, do you say to student "Yaw Left" or "Rudder Left" or "Rotate Left"...
