rebound TX to RX no controls

aha Thanks! RENOV8R, I was just about to buy a 3rd set of ESCs. okay so I just need a dedicated 5v supply into an empty channel on the CC3D right, or do I need something extra? I'm using a 5v battery for now for testing, and it seems to work. The channels were all messed up in OpenPilot, so I...

rebound TX to RX no controls

This time I did things properly, made a custom USB connector to power the RX while binding. And I think I have found the problem: The Rx is not receiving any power. I realise now that my new ESC's only have 2 cables running to the flight controller, while the old ones had 3.

rebound TX to RX no controls

RENOV8R, I was using my 3cell flight battery, powering the RX directly, FC not connected. I saw others do the same online, it worked fine the first few times. I think as Rotor69 suggested, I probably plugged in wrong way and reversed polarity. I tested it again afterwards and the RX seemed to...

rebound TX to RX no controls

Thanks for the offer! Will let you know if the next RX gives me trouble. Most lot of the "bad luck" I've experienced is my own fault, ordered wrong ESC's first time because I didn't read carefully enough, just fried RX because I was in a rush. I also wasted a lot of time trying to find good...

rebound TX to RX no controls

Hey Rotor69 thanks for the description. That's pretty much what I've been doing, I followed the instructions on a youtube video that was the same. The binding seems to work actually. The light starts off already blinking slow, then switch off and on again, makes it a solid red. But when it...

rebound TX to RX no controls

I'm having a similar issue as others, I installed new ESC's today ( little bee 20A B-heli ) and for some reason the Transmitter is now as good as dead ( TGY-i6)-( TGY-iA6) The motors all work, and can be calibrated via the LibrePilot wizard, but when it comes to the TX setup, nothing happens...

    Choosing the right ESCs

Hey guys, thanks for the suggestions. @ringolong - those ESCs you linked that cost only USD14 - cost 22Euro each in Germany. Which is about USD24 I would just order from the States, I ordered my drone through the american HobbyKing, because it was so much cheaper. but after paying for postage...

    Choosing the right ESCs

Hi all, I recently got a BlackWidow 260 quad from HobbyKing, and need to replace the ESCs I assumed Emax 20amps where the ones I needed. Well, they arrived today and I found they are way to big physically to even fit on the arms, twice as thick as I need. Amazon often only shows images, so the...
