Hi and thanks for the reply. I was leading, excuse the pun :), to that solution so will make up some leads from charger to battery. Much safer than messing with the battery connections.

Thanks for that :) Think i'll just cut the damned thing off and solder on a known connector, one which is common to the rest of my cables and charger. Thanks guys ;)

Haha my eyesight isn't what it used to be either :) It could well be an EC3 but what threw me was the colour as all the EC3's ive seen are all blue and the HXT's are red. Cant see any harm in trying it.

Hi and thanks for the reply but all the HXT connectors I've seen have one pin which I assume is the male and a pin slot again I assume being the female. This connector on my battery has two pins so surely I need a connector with two pin slots and this is what I cant find
