It would have but tested on my bench first. Under warranty so planning to return.

Right out of the box, as I increase the throttle from zero slightly it quickly accelerates to 100% and locks there even when the stick goes back to zero. Have to disarm to stop motors. Taranis Q7 transmitter setting all look good to me and don't see anything in Betaflight to cause this issue...
