I want it on the gimbal control so it tracks with my pitch, just for recording. I have another quad for fpv.

Yeah, the cc3d does have gimbal control. I suppose it does make sense to use power off of the receiver, but the board powers the receiver so wouldn't it be easier to run it off of the board?

I will install a simple single axis gimbal on cc3d for my mobius soon. would I gain anything from using a bec on a 9g servo, or should the cc3d power it just fine? I'm familiar with rc electronics as I've been doing land vehicles for 15 years, but I've only been doing quads for a few months.

So, my quad was flying fine yesterday. Today I relocated my cc3d and now my transmitter tells me low rx battery and won't arm. I've tried several fully charged packs, same results. Any ideas? RESOLVED. I plugged the speed controls in backwards upon rebuild. -+s rather than s+-. I'm glad...
