OK I have found the solution to my question. If I connect using the UDIR/C do not start the interface controller, then start my CONTROLLER, it will control the flying as normal. Touch the Interface video button to turn on and off video in flight.

I just bought an altair 818 hornet the camera works using the UDIR/C interface controller, I don't want to use the controller to fly with just for video. Is there a way of using my controller and still have video. If the interface controller is active my controller does not work. Also the camera...
