Hi All, The new QC was delivered today and was up and running within seconds of opening the box, so the other one was definitely DOA. I am now off out with my son to go and fly his new QC. Thanks again for all the help and suggestions.

From what I understand regardless of or whether you switch on the controller or QC first (I have tried both ways) the lights on the QC should flash quickly then after a few seconds flash slowly, and then allow to sync.
