actually if you like to see a good review this was reviewed on RC groups. He goes very detailed with it. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2096291 We now have a 2014 version also coming out in a few days.
Yeah the carbon fiber does interfere with the RF. I have not done anything over 300 yards so I'm not sure how bad it interferes. I do have my antenna pointing down below the frame and maybe thats why I don't have any problems yet.
It is detachable. But be careful because these silicones are not easy to put in and out. We didn't really design it to take in out and out all the time..
you can use from 8 to 9 inch props. You can go higher but a 10 inch prop is bad with wind especially if you don't have enough power and you are using 3s battery. To be honest with you just invest on some used DJI naza m. You can always find them on for sale section in forums like this or others...
Here are my suggestions if you will use hobbyking products.
Change your motor to multistar like this one
http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__36767__Turnigy_Multistar_3525_850Kv_14Pole_Multi_Rotor_Outrunner.html
With the frame you chose you are better off doing the 4in1 esc brain...
