Hello,
I have trouble getting a Tarot TL3T05 gimbal to work.
When powered on, it should assume it's default position (camera facing frontal) and stabilize this position against drone movement, just like any other gimbal. Unfortunately, it never reaches that position. It always goes into a random position, holds it for a second, switches off and then repeats everything until powered down. I've attached a video showing this behavior.
Sometimes, the gimbal would manage to find it's default position and also stabilize itself when the drone moves. However, if the drone nose moves up, requiring the gimbal to tilt down, it doesn't tilt and immediately stops the whole gimbal again. All other movements seem to work.
I'm not sure, but it possibly started after I calibrated the gimbal using Tarot's software (http://www.tarotrc.com/Download/Detail.aspx?Lang=en&Id=7f048157-8b73-4bd7-b3de-5b5fd772d6e1). My procedure is as follows:
I first stop the gimbal, bring it into default position (Camera facing in front direction) and go to the Tool view in the software. The gyroscope values are all close to 0 (+/- 0.2) while the attitude values show some arbitrary values !=0. Now, I click on "Calibrate Sensors", and after a few seconds, the status says "calibration ok" and all attitude values are set to 0. Afterwards, I click on "Calibrate Gimbal Angles", which, after a few seconds also says "ok". When I now switch the gimbal back on, it exhibits the behavior described above. The software version is 1.1, the firmware version of the gimbal is 1.2.
I hope this gives a halfway clear expression of what's going on. I'm not exactly an experienced drone user, so if I forgot anythin, don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks in advance
