Should I try mounting action camera on my drone?

Hello. Recently I bought this drone: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01DGJ797S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

for now , it's tons of fun to fly and the only thing that I miss is the camera... I know that for this price it can't have a good camera but I can't afford to invest in something that I don't know how much time it will be alive (if you know what I mean). The drone weight in the manual is 130g but I measured it and it is like 150 with the propeller guards and the low resolution camera. So... my question is if I can remove the guards and the old camera and replace it with this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/WiFi-Ultra-...085385?hash=item3d22658c09:g:HXQAAOSwdzVXqg-r

It's 58g, I guess I can stick something that is like 60g on the quad and try if it can carry it or not? Any advice is welcome! Thank you.

Hi mate you just said what i was going to say try but the camera is more like 209 g I know what they say it is but look at this its the same camera just a different brand name https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-2k-hd-camera-black-edition-lite-package.html , the flight times will come down with the extra weight of the camera , also it will pick up any vibration the quad has so picture may not be that good , and I dont think that quad will lift a camera and gimbal
there are lighter cameras out there that will just fit on a velcro strip

Are you sure about that link? https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-2k-hd-camera-black-edition-lite-package.html
It says 206g but below in the specs it says 46g. That "206g" may be the camera with the box or something like that?
Okay , I am fine about that. Is there any other drone then at that price range that can carry a camera that's at least 1080p 60fps?
I can return the drone within 30 Jan.

I just put mine on the scales it's bang on 60g with card and battery so your have to Velcro it on to keep it light but it may shake the wing cameras are super light and will still give HD and won't be like flying with a brick under the quad lol

These small cameras have HD but it's not even near the quality of the "brick" ones. Also they are more expensive and not really my thing. Can you recommand me a drone that can carry the "brick" kinds of cams? :)

Okay. I tested the drone with the propeller guards and the old camera and it carried around 45-50g. I guess it can't carry the bricks and you were right. I have another question though. I wonder if there are better propellers that I can mount on it in order to gain more effective flight times etc. or I should just return it and see if there is a better drone that can carry the camera?

Hi mate I dont think the coreless motors would cope well with bigger props , these toy quads are great up to a point they are hard to mod , you can just fly as it is and master flying ,while you are doing this save for a hobby grade brushless quad either RTF ( ready to fly ) or build one

Well , I don't like these ones that are cheap. I found this one: https://www.amazon.com/XIRO-Xplorer...=merchant-items&ie=UTF8&qid=1483189694&sr=1-1

What do you think , is it worth it? It's like old , nobody is talking about it but I find it pretty interesting and it has a lot of good features like the gimbal , amazing!
