I would like to purchase a long range fpv quad drone. It has to be ready to fly or at least bind-and-fly.
I am not looking for a racer so it doesn't have to be fast or agile.
I would like at least 30 minutes flight time and 3-4 km range. I also need an appropriate transmitter.
It doesn't need to be "smart" with sophisticated features, just a simple and stable drone with a decent camera.
Can you please provide me with the relevant information and price?
G'day Hike, the name's Stu from the NW of NSW. Sorry to upset you mate, but our Government is about to upset our applecarts. They will expect us all to register our quadcopters, planes etc. Pay $20 each every year and get a licence. Flying any further than line of sight will be outlawed and no flying higher than 400 feet. If your quad weighs under 250G and if you're flying on an approved flying site you'll be exempt from these restrictions.
You'll find out more if you go to the CASA website, but don't bother. As someone said to me the other day. If an official approaches you whilst flying, just mumble quietly and ignore him. Or tell him you left your hearing aids at home.
