First post here. I’m using a quadcopter that I made and now that spring is here have taken it out of storage. Don’t remember any crashes that ended the drone last summer. However, now only the right motors (#1 and #2) spin, and the left motors (#3 and #4) do not. This is while trying to test the motors in cleanflight, so it shouldn’t have anything to do with the receiver/transmitter.
Equipment is:
Abusemark acro Naze32 Rev 6
Crazepony Matek PDB
EMAX RS2205 2300KV motors
Crazepony littlebee 20A oneshot125 ESC
I’m using cleanflight with firmware v2.0.0. Header pins are used at the 3 row by 6 column area where the ESCs plug into.
Here’s what I’ve done:
Checked each individual motor by plugging each into the #1 motor position on the Naze 32. All motors function properly when in the #1 position.
Checked each individual ESC by plugging them into motor position #1 on the Naze 32. Each ESC works properly when in the # 1 position.
Calibrated accelerometer
Calibrated ESCs
Checked continuity along the 3 set of 6 header pins where the ESCs plug into. Continuity is good for the power and neutral. No continuity for the signal (which is to be expected).
Continuity of the neutral and power wires on the PDB is good.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
