So, same story as most. Bought a couple "toy" quads and flew around the house with the kids. Bought a Eachine Wizard x220 ARF kit for Xmas. I already had RC FliteTest planes (re-kindled that obsession last year) and Flysky transmitter, receiver, batteries.
Yesterday was the first flight since I received the Wizard. No wind and not to cold. No crashes (only one close call) and it felt awesome (and scary at the same time). I didn't try the FPV goggles at all... need to get comfortable with the LOS first. I was surprised the power of the 1300 3S battery and also that it wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. Can't wait to fly again...
A few questions post virgin flight:
Thanks for any tips and advice.

A few questions post virgin flight:
- Before the first flight I changed from the arm/de-arm from the left stick to a switch. I noticed that after arming (with the switch) that I still have to throttle up/down one time before the motors would actually respond. Is this normal or do I have something setup incorrectly?
- I plugged into the Betaflight and changed a few settings (beginner quad) as shown in a YouTube Wizard video. I felt like I had a lot of expo in yaw yesterday. I was planning to reduce some of that in Betaflight before my next flight. I was thinking today (while at work) that I might still have Expo setup in the Flysky since it was previously being used with a "brainless" plane. Should I remove any expo in the Flysky and just go with the Betaflight?
Thanks for any tips and advice.
