Hello, I had started a quadcopter build and tried to use an instructables build guide to complete the project. The main difference with this build was that I used a Raspberry Pi 2 to receive commands rather than a traditional flight controller. I had a lot of trouble getting the code to run on the Pi so I wanted to ditch the idea of using a Raspberry Pi and go with a more common receiver/controller. What electronic component could I use instead of the Raspberry Pi 2 that will work with my drone? And what controller should I use for the setup? The instructables link used a smartphone app but I don't think this will be possible without the Raspberry Pi. I will give the parts below. I used the exact same parts listed in the instructables link the only difference being the motors and frame. Please let me know if you need any other info from my end. Any help/feedback is greatly appreciated. For links please message me since the forum doesn't allow me to post links for some reason.
- Raspberry Pi 2 Model B+
- (1) ZMR MultiWii Lite
- (4) Hobby King 30A ESC
- Motors: turnigy multistar 2213-980kv 14pole multi-rotor outrunner
