Ok I will throw this into the mix as a friend of mine had his ZMR250 go berserk on it's maiden flight. Not only flying BACKWARDS but also LEFT and RIGHT (bank) was back to front. After a lot of head scratching we had a revelation. His NAZE32 was mounted 270 degrees rotated on his quad causing the NAZE / Quad orientation to be screwed up.
To check this in 'CleanFlight' not sure about 'Baseflight' Hook up your Quad on a level surface to your PC / MAC/ UNIX machine and in Cleanflight and click on 'Calibrate Accelerometer'. Once you have done this lift the nose of your Quad and check the 3D representation on the screen reacts accordingly. Then repeat by lifting one side of the Quad. Finally rotate the Quad on the flat surface. If all actions behave correctly then the problem could lay elsewhere.
If it is a NAZE 32 orientation problem you can correct this in the CLI by typing 'Align = 90' or 'Align = 180' or 'Align = 270' depending how much your Naze Board is Rotated by. This sorted my friends problem.
It is a handy command (Check the syntax as I may have it wrong and accept no liability) because it means you can mount a Naze 32 flight controller orientated whatever way you want.
As always do remove all props before any indoor testing or configuration changes. The last thing you want is your Quad leaping off your workbench and trying to remove your face!
Hope this is of some help?
Regards Delboy
PS: Not even sure if it's a NAZE board you are using but apparently there are a few faulty boards out there where the Accelerometer behaves erratically. Search YouTube vids on this eg:
Hopefully this is not your problem.
PPS: Darn just noticed you are using a KK2 board SORRY. Maybe this post can be moved elsewhere where it may be of help or deleted by
