My 3D printer has gone kaput!

Monoprice Select Mini V2

Problem :
The nozzle must be frozen solid. Plastic cannot pass through.
I used to be able to pull the filament out > cut off the "deformed" part of the filament > reinsert back to the tube > give the filament a pushed at the end > and the nozzle will start ejecting plastic.
That happened many times, and I had not problem fixing that. But this time, no go.
Does not matter how high I set the nozzle temperature.

I am tempted to dissemble the nozzle part, but I watched a u-tube a few weeks/months ago which showed a thin long wire-like tool which woule be inserted through the nozzle in order to remove whatever was stuck inside.
I don't have that tool and don't know how to get it. Not to mention how to dissemble the nozzle .

Does any one have an u-tube instruction for that as well as the tool aforementioned ?

I've bought a Creality 3D Ender 3 through Amazon.ca. Expected delivery : this Thursday.

Look for acupuncture needles but basically you just heat up the hot end above melting temp of any filament you put through it and then shove the needle up through the nozzle. Taking things apart isn't too bad but need to have things heated sometimes to melt any plastic holding things together but I also go to it as a last resort, sometimes just pushing some metal (like a small Allen wrench handle) down into the heated hot end can push through or pull out whatever is binding it up.

Correct.
Hot end is hot, but filament cannot pass through.

When you manually push filament down into the hotend while hot does the tip of the filament get melted at all if not the solid plastic blocking it is probably higher up above the heat break (where the cool side of the hot end meets the hot side). If the plastic is melting a bit then the block is probably in the nozzle or the heater block (thing with heater cartridge and temp sensor in it)

If the first problem ( no melt) then need to take things apart most likely and "ram rod" the cold plastic out of the cool side of the hot end. If the second issue (melts a bit but doesn't push through) then would try needles or replace the nozzle if needles don't work. Worst case scenario just replace the entire hot end but more time consuming and costly and easier if using Marlin firmware already to adjust the parameters in config for new parts.

Sadly, the first scenario applies...….. filament does not melt at all.
