Saw it on a web site and most of the reviews gave it a thumbs up. Well, my opinion of reviews now is they are paid for by the companies that make the quads. This little vermin is in no way Bind And Fly. More like spend hours trying to decipher the broken English instructions, then hours on the web learning how to use Cleanflight to fix its out of the box horrible flight configuration.
After a week and some changes in the base programming as well as setting up a switch to change it from the default manual mode, i finally got to fly it.
First, you learn very quickly how unbalanced it is with the battery hanging on its belly. You have to be very gentle on the stick or it will wobble out of control in the blink of an eye.
Second, you learn how heavy it is compared to the available lift. Once it starts dropping, even full throttle will not stop it from hitting the ground. If you roll past 20 degrees or so and it looses lift, it drops like a rock. Same with pitching forward. A little to far and it dives for the ground and doesn't have enough power to correct.
Flyable, a lesson in perseverance, a learning experience. I give it a 3 out of 10 only because it does actually fly.
