So I have flown things in the past such as the "stocking stuffer" type of cheap quadcopters and such. Hated them so much, fun at first and then you break a part and you cant find replacements. So I did a bunch of research and found that bang for buck I liked the Hubsan x4. Got it and I love it so much, going to buy a second one with a camera soon just to play with. So here is the real question. I want to upgrade to something once Im ready that can do nice areal photography as well as have fpv capabilities. I also have looked at the DJI Phantom 2 and love the features it offers. But I do not want to spent the $1500 on the vision +. So keeping in mind I want a easy flyer with great stability, and preferably pre-programable flight paths and a "return home" safe feature would be awesome. So in a professionals opinion how much would I look at spending. Looks mean nothing to me. Functionality and durability do.
