Own a Phantom 2 with the Zenmuse gimbal. Have not flown it yet, because of lousy weather in Iowa.
Should I start out with the gimbal on or off, do you think? Any suggestions?
I would start with it off and get used to flying before you put it on. I always fly my copters for awhile without camera equipment or even FPV before I put it on. That way I can get used to how it flies before putting strapping on a bunch of valuable equipment.
The Zenmuse H3-2D Gimbal is designed for the GoPro HERO3 or HERO3+. It's widely used in film and television productions, advertising aerial photography, etc. Even if the aircraft is in high-speed flight, it can still stabilize and control the GoPro camera precisely with the highest stability. carobd2shop.com
