I didn't want to ask "What's the best RC Flight Sim for a quadcopter newb?" because I don't want to start huge thread with a lot of opinions thrown in, but it's basically what I want to know.
So... I'll be a little more specific:
I'm considering buying a DJI F550 ARTF kit, with Futaba T8J Tx kit. I know it's a high point to start at but I can't afford to buy two or three models of copter, and I want one that won't run out of ability within a year, (or longer hopefully?). So I figure a lot of time spent on a good SIM will save me a lot of real pain?
Is there a SIM out there that models the F550 realistically that I can plug the T8J Tx into please anyone?
One more thing; I need it to run on my Dell laptop some of the time so I don't want it modelled in 100, billion colours in 4k TV format! The Dell has an Intel Centrino Duo Core T7250 CPU with 4Gb RAM in Windoze 7 with Intel Express G965 GPU chipset. Anyone else running there SIM on something similar please?
All help appreciated.
