Hi all!
First post! Woo! (IF YOU DON'T HAVE TIME THERE IS A TL DR ST THE END)
So I ordered a H8 mini from BG and am waiting for it to be delivered, but in the meantime I have discovered the wonders of inductive charging. I'm looking at adafruit's DIY set, and know the H8 is more than capable of lifting the receiver however I face an issue. The kit is available in both 3.3V and 5V versions. The H8 battery is 3.7V, so 3.3 would charge damn slowly and 5 would almost certainly convert the battery to an IED. The quad is arriving with 5 additional batteries, and so I have ordered a 4 in 1 charging and as such I won't need the included USB cable. I would like to use the 5v version so if I removed the casing and USB connector of the charger and soldered it to the inductive charger receiver and the other end to the battery cable would it provide voltage regulation and adjust the voltage / current to something the battery could handle? Thanks for your time in advance and sorry for the wall of text!
TL DR- Does the Eachine H8 USB charging cable provide voltage / current regulation?
Regards,
Eerf
