UPDATE: 5-18-2019 3,808,800 RPM, 63,480 RPS, 1338mph, 2153kph, 24.3M G's
My other thread disappeared today, so I posted info here.
OLD NEWS: Today I stepped it up a notch. Using a new circuit (hall sensor, fet driver, more coil voltage, 3mm ball, etc) I got to 1,579,800rpm, 26,330 revs per sec, 555mph (slower) and 4.1 million G's
I wanted to see how fast I could spin a ball magnet.
Top speed sofar is 1,140,901rpm, 19.02KHz, maximum ball equator speed = 668mph (979kph), calculated the G's on the equator at that speed is 3.64 million G's, then,,,disintegration!
