    Tenergy TB6AC+80W battery charger

I was able to identify the red round connector that the Syma X8c uses. It is a 3.5mm HXT connector. I was able to find this adapter that will allow me to use the connector that came with my battery charger...

    Tenergy TB6AC+80W battery charger

    I have the above charger. I just got a Syma X8C drone with a 7.4V 2000 mAh li-ion battery. https://www.amazon.com/Tenergy-Intelligent-Digital-Balance-Charger/dp/B010CCMWMO/ref=sr_1_1?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1482772735&sr=1-1&keywords=tenergy+tb6ac+battery+charger...

    syma x5sc wont fly backwards

I found flying it in "HI" performance solved these type of issues. Any wind will also have a noticeable effect with this drone.

    X5 SC Explorer 2 problem

I fly a X5 SC. First thing I would do is check that the props are in the proper position. Second thing I would try is launching it from your hand raised in the air. When you try this you should feel downward thrust.

    Syma X8C ordered.

Call Amazon & complain. I have done so & they normally will discount the item (30-50%) for your inconvenience. Doesn't get it there any faster, but takes the disappointing edge off. This would only apply to Amazon shipped items.

Syma xc5-1 links, lifts, and drops within 1 second then flashes???

If you have a motor you think is weak, I'd just replace that motor & try it again. I've replaced individual motors on mine from different dealers with no problems.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm still going through every thing I can find on it. Looks promising.

    Windy

Jackson, K70 looks interesting. Have you flown it in the wind? Appears to be just coming out as I can find very limited info about it.

Any suggestions??? How big and heavier do I have to go???

    Windy

My Syma x5sc flies great in a breeze, but once it becomes a wind you have to quit. Are there any drones that can handle up to a 10 mph wind or am I asking too much???

    Battery bandage

Not Velcro. It is a double sided sticky, about 1/16" thick and 1" wide. You could roll it in a ball or shape it how you want, but you end up with something sticky on all sides. It is more like something used to seal windows on an rv. Was just curious what its us with RC would be.

    Battery bandage

Neither. Here is a link to the motors with the package shown. It is very sticky on both sides. The white is like a wax paper to keep it from sticking to any thing before use. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013OTCW3Q?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00

Syma X5SC Not working - HELP

If you just got it & it quit that quick I would consider sending it back. Once you get it going "right", it flies really well.

Syma X5SC Not working - HELP

I have the same quadcopter. I have had the same thing happen occasionally. I have been able to shut off & turn back on the transmitter, resync & it worked. Try this with your quad and the transmitter at least a few feet apart. If this doesn't work I would sync it like you did in your video...

    It's winter

Sounds like it is ok to fly in cold weather, just don't crash.

    It's winter

Thanks for your reply. Does the below freezing temps have any effect on the motors?
