    On a whim, I got a fixed-wing aircraft, thinking flying in one direction would be easier than steering my quadcopter. DON'T EVER THINK THAT! At least with the quad you can do an almost 90 degree turn (you know, like flying saucers do). A fixed wing just acts like a missile and hits things hard, like the side of a neighbor's car. Not a good feeling there...

    After you get used to them they are easier to fly. They also handle failures better. You can loose an ESC, motor, or prop and still land it pretty easy.
