So I am wanting to add GPS to my quadcopter although not to control it. I simply need the GPS to record where it has been to create a trace on a map. This doesn't have to be ridiculously accurate, within a meter would be great.
I have no idea where to start. The "Adafruit Ultimate GPS" looks promising as it has datalogging, but then others recommend the raspberry pi GPS. Either way, I think I need to upgrade my Raspberry Pi model, I'm still using "A" or use an Arduino
The trace doesn't have to be live, I just need to be able to know that it has recorded it and then I can download it all when I'm home.
