Yeah, I considered location. Now my neighbor thinks I'm crazy watching me do the Naza dance in several locations out in an open field in front of his house. All for naught. No matter where I am, I keep getting that annoying red flashing light.

Thnx for the input. $36 wouldn't be too hard to swallow. I'm thinking I might just pull the Naza and fly the Tarot for a while. See how that does.

Does the ublox have the same plug?

This is stupid!!!! Just checked on Amazon, just the compass unit alone for the Naza V2 priced anywhere from $25.00 to $128.00. can I say STUPID??? I did. Twice!!

OK, in the TOOLS tab, in the basic cal. window, when I click on cal, I get the msg window saying "no need cal". going to the "advanced" window, I was able to initiate advanced cal. It went through its process and finished. In both the basic and advanced windows, it reads "status = ready"...

When in the assistant software I get a msg. saying that calibration isn't necessary. I've clicked on the buttons anyway, but nothing happens. I'm going to go back in now and see if I can get that or even the IMU calibration to initiate. I'll let you know what (if anything) happens. Thanks...

Thanks for posting that video Renov8er. I'll be fooling around trying to find a way to save it on my 'puter for later. Have you ever tried to fly a 6S battery? I think my quad can handle the weight, and all of the info. on the Naza V2 (AND the Tarot) indicates that a 6S is acceptable. But...

You asked if the OSD was for the Naza or the Tarot. Does it matter? I'm doing well with the V2, so I'll stay with it for a while. If it's workin', don't fix it!
