    Had a bad crash with my syma x8g & the cable connection inside the camera has snapped off,is it possible to power it from somewhere else on the camera circuit board with a separate battery.If not does anyone have any ideas for a cheap alternative available in the uk.

    no, you can take pics & video but not fpv ,when you were asking if there was an app.I assumed you meant fpv or have I read your post wrong

    I converted my X8g to a X8hg & cannot see anyway to stop the altitude hold ,if you want the X8 without alt hold just buy the 8G the camera is much better than the 2.0 mp camera on the x8c

    Sorted, the lights do apparently flash when the camera is on ,they also flash in headless mode so not sure how you are supposed to know when battery is getting flat .But anyway all working ok & seems a worthwhile upgrade from the standard 8g.Just a word of warning when buying motors from china...

    the X8G does not have wifi the pictures & video are all loaded to the memory card in the camera.You need the X8W to do wifi but that only has a 2.0 mp camera.

    Hi, I put a new X8Hg receiver board in my X8G quadcopter but when I switch the camera on all the lights continually flash,this didn't happen on the old board ,can anyone with an X8HG tell me if this correct or have I got a problem.I have looked at the manual on the syma site but it doesn't...

    I've tried everything to get motor 4 to fire up ,no joy,so i've ordered a syma X8HG board & controller from amazon just have to wait till it gets to the u.k. from china.
